Ross Pamphilon has been appointed head of fixed income, a newly created role, at Impax Asset Management.
Based in London, Pamphilon reports to Charles French, deputy chief investment officer-listed investments, the firm said an Oct. 24 news release.
Impax runs strategies within U.S. investment-grade and U.S. high yield and has about $1.6 billion in fixed-income assets under management and advisory.
Pamphilon most recently served as head of fixed income-EMEA for Wells Fargo Asset Management, where he led the global fixed income and European credit teams, the release noted. A spokesperson for Impax said he left Wells Fargo in 2021 prior to that company changing its name to Allspring Global Investments.
Impax had total assets under management of about $45.6 billion as of Sept. 30.
