Nayan Patel was named CEO of Robeco Asset Management's Singapore office.
Mr. Patel replaces Tom Keenan who left the firm in mid-November to return to his home country of Australia, according to a Robeco news release.
Mr. Keenan could not be reached for comment.
He will report to Graham Elliot, Robeco's Hong Kong-based head of institutional business Asia ex-Japan.
Mr. Patel was executive director, institutional business development, Southeast Asia at Robeco and will retain those responsibilities alongside his new role.
Robeco opened its Singapore office in 2016. The office focuses on credit research, sales distribution and client service for Singapore and Southeast Asia.
