Malick Badjie has been appointed global head of sales and marketing at Dutch-based asset management firm Robeco.
Badjie had been serving in the role on an interim basis, said a Dec. 8 news release.
He succeeds Alexander Preininger, who has been on leave due to personal circumstances and has now decided to leave the company, the release noted.
Badjie will be responsible for Robeco's sales strategy and organization, sales teams in 15 countries, consultant relations and global marketing.
A spokesperson for Robeco confirmed Badjie wil be based in the company's headquarters at Rotterdam.
Robeco had €181 billion ($197 billion) in assets under management as of June 30.
