Damien Frawley, CEO of Queensland Investment Corp., a Brisbane-based alternatives manager, will step down in 2022 after nine years at the helm.
Egon Zehnder, an executive search firm, has been tapped to undertake a global search for QIC's next CEO, a news release said Wednesday. A QIC spokesman said Mr. Frawley will continue to lead the organization until a replacement can be named.
Mr. Frawley couldn't immediately be reached for comment.
As of June 30, QIC, which focuses on alternatives segments such as infrastructure and real estate, managed more than A$88.8 billion ($66.9 billion) for "government, domestic and global institutional investors," the news release said.
