Caroline Feeney was named CEO of Prudential Financial's insurance and retirement businesses, Prudential announced in a news release Monday.
It is a new position. Ms. Feeney will be responsible for driving growth across Prudential's consolidated portfolio of U.S. businesses while ensuring alignment with PGIM, the company's asset management business, Prudential said.
Specifically, Ms. Feeney will oversee group insurance, individual life insurance, Prudential annuities, Prudential Retirement, and the retail advice and solutions unit.
In her new role, Ms. Feeney will continue to report to Andy Sullivan, executive vice president and head of U.S. businesses.
Ms. Feeney is a 27-year company veteran who most recently served as CEO of individual solutions, a position she had held since June 2018. Prior to that, she served as president of Prudential advisers and president of individual life insurance, and spent time in field leadership roles. She joined Prudential in 1993.
"Caroline's business savvy, deep industry expertise and people-centric leadership style will help us realize the full potential of our businesses," Mr. Sullivan said in the news release.
