Bettina Ducat was named deputy CEO of Primonial Group and managing director of affiliate company La Financière de l'Echiquier, a spokeswoman said.
Ms. Ducat will replace Christophe Mianne in both roles, effective July 2020. Mr. Mianne has decided to pursue new challenges outside of the Primonial Group, the spokeswoman added.
Ms. Ducat will focus on accelerating the international expansion of La Financiere de l'Echiquier and will be responsible for money management at its parent company, Primonial.
She will report to Stéphane Vidal, chairman of the board of La Financière de l'Echiquier and president of Primonial.
"Bettina is a woman of conviction and a great leader. Her extensive experience in the asset management business, particularly in international development, will be a strong asset in the implementation of our roll-out strategy for the LFDE offering," Mr. Vidal said in a news release.
Ms. Ducat was global head of the distribution client group at AXA Investment Managers. Details of her replacement could not be learned.
Primonial had €45 billion ($50.4 billion) in assets under management and advisory as of Dec. 31.
La Financière de l'Echiquier had €9 billion as of the same date.
