Jennifer Strickland joined alternative investment firm Pretium in the new position of senior managing director and co-head of business development, a spokeswoman said in an email.
Ms. Strickland is responsible for fundraising, client strategy and management of the firm's business development team.
Ms Strickland was executive vice president at PIMCO where she was responsible for marketing the firm's alternative investment strategies in the U.S. and Canada.
PIMCO spokeswoman Agnes Crane couldn't be immediately reached for information on a replacement.
