Daniel McHale was named director of client service and business development at Praesidium Investment Management Co., confirmed company spokeswoman Samantha Rodriguez in an email.
The position is new. Mr. McHale will oversee the firm's client engagement and fundraising efforts. He will report directly to the firm's founders, Peter Uddo and Kevin Oram.
Mr. McHale was executive director, head of business development at Morgan Stanley. Lauren Bellmare, a Morgan Stanley spokeswoman, could not be immediately reached for additional information.
Praesidium manages more than $2 billion in assets.
