Kevin Dolsen was named head of distribution at Polen Capital Management.
It is a new position. He joined the money manager June 1 and reports to CEO Stan C. Moss, a spokesman said in an email.
Mr. Dolsen leads and manages Polen Capital's global distribution team and was previously CEO of CastleArk Management. Jerome A. Castellini, CastleArk's principal, president, chief investment officer and portfolio manager, could not be immediately reached for further information.
Polen Capital also announced it named Michael Guarasci as chief operating officer. Mr. Guarasci, who began his newly created position May 18, also reports to Mr. Moss and serves on Polen's strategic planning and operating committees, the spokesman confirmed.
Mr. Guarasci was previously chief financial officer, head of corporate strategy and development and acting chief operating officer at ICMA-RC. Spokesman Alex Hannah could not be immediately reached for further information.
Polen Capital Management has more than $40 billion in assets under management.
