Melissa Platner was named head of U.S. consultant relations at Pictet Asset Management.
It is a new position, a spokesperson said. Based in New York, Platner reports to Elizabeth Dillon, CEO of Pictet Asset Management (USA).
Platner will lead the firm’s efforts developing relationships with U.S.-based domestic and global institutional consulting firms.
She was previously head of institutional at Impax Asset Management, where a spokesperson said the firm “plans to add to the institutional team and is looking both internally and externally to find the best fit.”
Pictet Asset Management has about $282 billion in assets under management.
