Philippe Descheemaeker has been appointed head of private assets distribution at Lombard Odier Investment Managers, as part of the firm’s “strategic growth ambitions in private assets,” said an April 14 news release.
A spokesperson for Lombard Odier confirmed this is a newly created role.
Based in Geneva, Descheemaeker reports to Bettina Ducat, co-head of Lombard Odier Investment Managers.
Descheemaeker formerly served as a Frankfurt-based head of distribution and managing director at SKY Harbor Capital Management, a high-yield fixed -income asset management firm.

Lombard Odier Investment Managers, the institutional asset management business of the Lombard Odier Group, had 65 billion Swiss francs ($72 billion) in assets under management as of Dec. 31.
