Daleep Singh has joined PGIM Fixed Income in Newark, N.J., as chief global economist and head of global macroeconomic research, according to a PGIM news release Wednesday.
Mr. Singh replaces Nathan Sheets, a PGIM spokeswoman confirmed. Mr. Sheets served in those roles for four years before leaving to become Citi's global chief economist in October 2021.
Mr. Singh was U.S. deputy national security adviser for international economics and deputy director of the National Economic Council in the Biden administration.
PGIM Fixed Income has $890 billion in assets under management.
