William Tsotsos was named managing director, Canada, for PGIM's institutional relationship group.
The position is new, a spokeswoman said in an email. Based in Toronto, he reports to Cameron Lochhead, managing director and global head of the institutional relationship group.
Mr. Tsotsos was previously head of institutional, Franklin Templeton Canada. He will not be directly replaced, and other institutional team members in Canada will take on his responsibilities, spokeswoman Sarah Kingdon said in an email.
As of March 31, PGIM had $1.5 trillion in assets under management.
