Jessica Jones has joined PGIM Investments, the intermediary business of PGIM Inc., as managing director and head of Asia.
The Hong Kong-based position is a new one, a Singapore-based spokeswoman for PGIM confirmed.
A PGIM news release said Ms. Jones will drive the expansion of PGIM's global intermediary business in Asia with a focus on "building out teams in Hong Kong and Singapore to support the firm's sales and distribution efforts in the region."
She will report to Kimberly LaPointe, the London-based head of PGIM Investments International.
Ms. Jones comes to PGIM from Goldman Sachs Asset Management, where she served as managing director and head of the firm's retail client business for Asia ex-Japan.
A GSAM spokeswoman said Daphne Chan, a managing director and head of GSAM's South and Southeast Asia client business, has taken on the role of head of the Asia ex-Japan retail business as well.
