Sanford Ewing was named managing director for North America at European private credit manager Pemberton Asset Management.
The position is new, a spokeswoman said in an email. Mr. Ewing will be responsible for consultant relations, client servicing and investor coverage for the North American market.
He is the second North America-based investment official for Pemberton Asset Management.
Mr. Ewing, who joined the manager July 5, reports to Scott Hamilton, who was hired in November as managing director for North American business development.
Mr. Ewing was previously partner at Cross Ocean Partners, confirmed Andrew Aitken, global chief operating officer and chief financial officer. Peter Rausch, previously a managing director with the business development team at Avenue Capital, joined the firm in May as managing director focused on North American clients, he said. Mr. Aitken declined to comment further.
Pemberton Asset Management has €10 billion ($11.9 billion) in assets under management.
