Scott Hamilton was named managing director for North American business development at European private debt manager Pemberton Asset Management.
The position is new, according to a news release Monday. He will lead client coverage and consultant relations for the firm in U.S. and Canada.
Mr. Hamilton was previously managing director, U.S. business development, at private debt manager Alcentra, an affiliate of BNY Mellon Investment Management. Mellon spokesman Ben Tanner declined to comment.
A Pemberton spokesman could not be immediately reached for further information.
