Brian Woolfolk, senior vice president at Pacific Life Insurance Co., was named head of the insurer’s new institutional division.
In the newly created position, Mr. Woolfolk will lead a division that combines its pension risk transfer, stable value wrap and federal home loan bank businesses, said spokeswoman Jesse Page.
Mr. Woolfolk is currently senior vice president of sales and chief marketing officer in the insurer’s retirement solutions division.
Ms. Page said the firm is currently evaluating internal and external candidates to fill that role.
