Gaelle Mallejac has been named the first global chief investment officer of Ostrum Asset Management, an affiliate of Natixis Investment Managers that manages assets of €396 billion ($442 billion), according to a news release.
With this move, Ostrum has combined its management team under one leader.
In this new role, effective Oct. 1, Mallejac will be based in Paris and will focus on institutional clients. Mallejac will report to Ostrum CEO Olivier Houix.
Mallejac has over 30 years of experience in asset management, joining Ostrum in May 2021 as director of insurance management and asset and liabilities management solutions.
A spokesperson confirmed a replacement had not yet been named.
