Judy Cotte was named managing director and head of ESG for alternative money manager Onex Corp.
It is a new position, spokeswoman Jill Homenuk said in an email. Based in Toronto, Ms. Cotte will join the firm in July and report to Bobby LeBlanc, president of Onex Corp. and head of Onex Partners, the firm's private equity unit.
Ms. Cotte is the founder and current CEO of ESG Global Advisors. A news release on ESG Global Advisors' website said Sarah Keyes, principal, will succeed Ms. Cotte as CEO effective July 1.
Onex Corp. has $41 billion in assets under management.
