Oaktree Capital Management made a minority equity investment in and provided a new multiyear credit facility for credit firm Galway Sustainable Capital, according to a news release Tuesday.
The firm was founded in 2020 and is also backed by lead investor Cordillera Investment Partners, a private equity firm. Oaktree and Cordillera Investment Partners are equity owners in Galway and both firms have executives on Galway’s board, Galway spokeswoman Vera Feinhaus said in an email.
Galway spokeswoman Vera Feinhaus could not be immediately reached for information about the terms of the transaction.
