Oak Hill Capital closed its latest buyout fund, Oak Hill Capital Partners V, at $3.8 billion.
The fund exceeded its fundraising target of $3 billion, according to a news release Tuesday.
The private equity manager's previous fund, Oak Hill Capital Partners IV, closed at $2.65 billion, a spokeswoman said. That fund closed in 2017 above its fundraising target of $2 billion.
Oak Hill Capital targets investments of $100 million to $400 million in North American middle-market companies with a focus on consumer, industrial, media and communications, and services sectors, according to the news release.
Investors include the $105.1 billion Minnesota State Board of Investment, St. Paul.
