Nuveen Asset Management terminated Intech Investment Management as subadviser to the Nuveen Core Equity Alpha Fund, company spokeswoman E-Soo Kim confirmed in an email.
Nuveen will manage the $185 million closed-end fund, pending shareholder approval.
No reason for terminating the manager was provided. Intech spokeswoman Erin Passan declined to comment.
