Milan Vidojevic joined Northern Trust Asset Management as director of quantitative solutions within the international division and based in Amsterdam.
The role is new, a spokesperson said.
He will report to Guido Baltussen, head of quantitative strategies in the international division.
"Milan's appointment demonstrates our commitment to our quantitative strategies business as we expand our footprint internationally," said Michael Hunstad, deputy chief investment officer at NTAM, in a news release.
Vidojevic was a client portfolio manager and senior quantitative researcher at Robeco. His client portfolio management responsibility was taken over by the team one-and-half years ago, a Robeco spokesperson said.
NTAM has been bolstering its international quantitative solutions team. The firm also said Bart van Vliet joined in Amsterdam as an international quantitative solutions associate. He also reports to Baltussen.
Van Vliet was most recently in the operations team at Robeco.
