Peter Wilke has been named head of tactical asset allocation at Northern Trust Asset Management.
It is a new position. Wilke will “lead a team of analysts conducting the global macroeconomic research that drives NTAM’s investment views on market-moving factors including growth, inflation, and economic policy,” said a news release Nov. 13.
Wilke reports to Anwiti Bahuguna, CIO of global asset allocation.
Wilke most recently was a managing director and portfolio manager at Wellington Management, where he was responsible for developing and managing multiasset portfolios for institutional and financial intermediary clients, the news release added. “Peter Wilke’s responsibilities will be absorbed by portfolio managers on our investment strategy platform,” a Wellington spokesperson said.
NTAM has $1.3 trillion in assets under management.
