Peter Ball will step down as global head of distribution at Nomura Asset Management, the firm confirmed in a statement to Pensions & Investments.
Ball had been based in London and had been with Nomura AM since 2018, when he joined as head of distribution for Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Ball also acted as a member of the supervisory board of Australian nature-based assets manager New Forests, which is partly owned by Nomura.
"I am now on the lookout for the next opportunity. If you are in need of an experienced head of distribution, then do reach out to me," Ball said in a statement on social media website LinkedIn. "Meanwhile it is time for some relaxation and work on my golf game as the weather improves."
In a message to Pensions & Investments, Nomura AM confirmed Ball’s departure, and said there are no further details regarding his replacement.
Nomura AM had $619 billion in assets under management as of Sept. 30.
