Jenny Yoe was named head of U.K. institutional at Newton Investment Management, a spokeswoman said.
The role is new. Ms. Yoe oversees Newton's institutional sales and leads relationships with consultants and other fiduciaries, reporting to Julian Lyne, chief commercial officer.
"With more than two decades of experience in senior distribution roles, Jenny has a wealth of varied experience and a sound understanding of the U.K. institutional market, which will be integral in driving forward our domestic institutional channel. I look forward to working with Jenny to build on new opportunities, while ensuring we continue to support our existing clients," Mr. Lyne said in a news release Tuesday.
Newton had £44.9 billion ($57.7 billion) in assets under management as of Sept. 30.
Ms. Yoe joined Newton from State Street Global Advisors, where she was managing director and head of U.K. and Ireland institutional. Alistair Byrne has taken over her responsibilities as head of U.K. institutional distribution, alongside his existing role as head of retirement strategy for Europe, a spokeswoman said.
