Andrew Peters was named managing director and head of the investment consulting group at New York Life Investments.
He joined New York Life on Aug. 9 and reports to Chief Investment Officer Jae Yoon, spokeswoman Allison W. Scott said in an email. He replaces Ping Jiang, who left in 2020 to become head of multiasset solutions for the Americas within the customer experience group at index and risk analytics firm Qontigo.
Mr. Peters is responsible for the investment oversight and stewardship of the firm's boutique managers, as well as New York Life's MainStay funds, the spokeswoman said.
He was previously head of alternatives risk at Invesco. Company spokeswoman Jeaneen Terrio could not immediately provide further information.
New York Life Investments has more than $600 billion in assets under management.
