Michelle Dunne was named managing director within consultant coverage leadership at Neuberger Berman, effective immediately, a spokeswoman said.
Based in London, Ms. Dunne partners with Jamie Wong, the firm's head of consultant relations in Europe, the Middle East and Africa to lead the development of the EMEA business.
"Investment consultants continue to grow in importance as an increasingly broad set of institutions face complex investment challenges. I am delighted that someone with Michelle's pedigree and deep understanding of the institutional market is joining our team," Dik van Lomwel, head of EMEA and Latin America, said in a news release Thursday.
Ms. Dunne comes from BlackRock where she was head of global consultant relations for EMEA. A BlackRock spokeswoman said Ms. Dunne's responsibilities were absorbed by the team but the firm plans to add to the team in the coming months.
Neuberger Berman had $437 billion in assets under management as of Sept. 30.
