Cecile Mariani was named head of global financial institutions and global consultants, international, at Natixis Investment Managers.
She is based in London and reports to Fabrice Chemouny, head of international distribution for Natixis IM. Mariani is also a key member of the firm’s international business development senior team.
In her new role, Mariani will also collaborate with Matt Coldren, head of financial institutions for Natixis IM in the U.S., looking to provide investing solutions to global financial institutions around the world.
"Our global financial institutional clients are facing an increasingly complex environment, therefore the addition of Cecile to the team, with the wealth of experience that she brings, puts us in a strong position to support them in navigating today’s challenges and to serve their unique needs,” Chemouny said in a news release.
Natixis IM has headquarters in Paris and Boston, and has more than $1.3 trillion in assets under management.
Mariani was vice-president of group, head of EMEA and APAC global financial intermediaries at T. Rowe Price.
Regarding her replacement, a spokesperson for T. Rowe Price said in emailed comment to Pensions & Investments: "We are currently reviewing how we address the GFI segment over the medium to long term and have not appointed a successor to Cecile Mariani at this time. We thank Cecile for her valuable contribution to our GFI business and wish her well for the future."
