Anthony Williams was named head of institutional partnerships at distressed credit manager Mudrick Capital Management.
It is a new position, a spokesman said in an email. Mr. Williams, who is based in New York, reports to Thomas Bachner, president.
Mr. Williams is the latest addition to a growing client service team that has been expanding since the arrival of Mr. Bachner, the former global head of institutional partnerships at Bridgewater Associates, last September.
Mr. Williams was previously with Partners Group, where he led Southeast region investor relations and sales efforts for that firm. Partners Group officials could not be immediately reached for further information.
Mudrick Capital Management has about $3.4 billion in assets under management.
