Jonathan Linstra was named managing director for Americas at Morningstar Investment Management, a company spokeswoman confirmed in an email.
He replaced Matthew Radgowski, who is now Morningstar's head of client solutions for the adviser segment.
Mr. Linstra is responsible for overseeing all the firm's revenue generation and distribution efforts in the Americas. He is based in Chicago and reports to Daniel Needham, president for Morningstar Investment Management.
Mr. Linstra was head of ETF model portfolios and advised solutions at State Street Global Advisors. An SSGA spokesman wasn't immediately available to provide additional information.
