Hugh Cutler was named chief sales and marketing officer at U.K. investment platform Mobius Life, a spokesman confirmed.
The role is new.
Mobius is an institutional investment platform, which provides investment administration and investment solutions to institutional investors, money managers and independent pension fund trustees.
Mr. Cutler is responsible for relationships with defined benefit and defined contribution plans, as well as with investment consultants.
Separately, Kath Rainger was named head of people and culture.
Mobius Life has £20 billion ($25.3 billion) in assets under management.
Mr. Cutler was head of business development at Pollen Street Capital, which specializes in alternatives. A spokeswoman could not be immediately reached to comment about a replacement.
