Luan Jenifer was named president of money manager Miller/Howard Investments, said spokeswoman Jaimie Egan in an email.
Ms. Jenifer replaced Dana Troxell effective Aug. 1. Mr. Troxell, who stepped down from the role as president, will continue to serve on the firm’s board of directors and be an adviser to the firm’s executive committee. Mr. Troxell’s plans were not provided.
Ms. Jenifer was previously chief operating officer and head of ESG of the firm. She is continuing in her role as head of ESG, and Eva Horowitz, the firm’s current director of trading and operations, will take on the chief operating officer role on Dec. 31.
Miller/Howard Investments had $5.5 billion in assets under management as of Dec. 31, according to Pensions & Investments data.
