Guan Yi Low was named head of fixed income for M&G PLC in Asia-Pacific, the asset manager said Monday in a news release.
Ms. Low starts July 25 and will be based in Singapore. She will jointly report to Jim Leaviss, CIO of M&G's public fixed-income division, and Loretta Ng, head of Asia-Pacific.
Ms. Low most recently was head of fixed income at Eastspring Investments. She is replaced by Danny Tan, who has been with Eastspring since 2004, most recently as senior portfolio manager for credit-focused strategies and fixed income, Eastspring said in an emailed statement.
M&G manages £370 billion ($462 billion) and is building up the fixed-income team in the region, the release said.
Officials at the firm could not be reached for additional information, including whether Ms. Low's role is new.
