Sally Choo joined MFS Investment Management in Singapore as managing director of institutional sales for Asia ex-Japan, while Young Ju Hong joined in Hong Kong as director, relationship management and sales, with a focus on South Korea.
Anselmo Park, who left MFS in December to pursue other opportunities, had covered both roles from Singapore but his responsibilities were split in two to provide additional service and support the firm's growth in the region, a spokesman for MFS said.
Ms. Choo will lead MFS' engagement with sovereign wealth funds, central banks and national pension funds in Asia ex-Japan, the spokesman said. She joins from Amundi Asset Management, where she served as regional head of institutional business for Asia ex-China and Japan.
A spokeswoman for Amundi said a search is underway to fill that role.
Ms. Hong comes to MFS from TCW Group in Hong Kong, where she served as a senior vice president, investment solutions, Korea. A TCW spokesman couldn't be reached for comment.
Both Ms. Choo and Ms. Hong will report to Jonathan Tiu, CEO of MFS Singapore and senior managing director, Asia.
MFS had $38 billion in assets under management on behalf of clients in the Asia-Pacific region, ex-Australia.
