Jeri Savage joined MFS Investment Management as a retirement lead strategist, the investment manager announced in a news release Wednesday.
She is responsible for leading the firm's defined contribution thought leadership on trends, best practices, and regulatory and legislative developments.
"We look forward to Jeri's added perspective as we help clients understand the implications of the recently enacted SECURE Act 2.0," said Jonathan Barry, managing director of the investment solutions group at MFS Investment Management, in the release.
Ms. Savage succeeds Jessica Sclafani, who left the firm in 2022 to pursue other opportunities, a spokeswoman said. She is currently a defined contribution strategist at T. Rowe Price.
Ms. Savage joined from Rocaton, where she was a vice president of defined contribution research in the multiasset solutions group within Goldman Sachs Asset Management. Rocaton was acquired by Goldman Sachs in 2019 and retained the Rocaton name.
MFS manages $547.9 billion in assets on behalf of individual and institutional investors worldwide.
