Marc Cordover was named head of Mercer's U.S. investments and retirement group.
Mr. Cordover, who is based in Atlanta, will report to Pat Tomlinson, president of the U.S. and Canada at Mercer, Marsh & McLennan Cos.' consulting business. He will also join Mercer's global wealth and U.S. and Canada leadership teams.
Mr. Cordover, who was previously east wealth market business leader, will start immediately and succeeds Chris Mahoney, who was recently appointed leader of global defined benefits and defined contributions at Mercer.
Mercer, which advises clients on $17.3 trillion and manages more than $345 billion in assets as of June 30, recently reorganized its leadership structure.
