Karoline Keane was appointed head of product development at Mediolanum International Funds, the European money management platform of Mediolanum Banking Group.
Ms. Keane is responsible for the management and development of the firm's products, a news release said. She replaced Conor Owens, a spokesman said. Details on Mr. Owens' new role could not immediately be learned.
She was director for product development in Man Group's global sales product management business, the news release said. A spokesman for Man declined to comment.
Mediolanum also named Alberto Nova as head of marketing and communications. He replaced Peter Kinahan, the spokesman said. Further details could not be learned.
Mr. Nova was marketing head for Italy and Iberia at Legg Mason, part of Franklin Templeton, the release said.
Ms. Keane and Mr. Nova report to Furio Pietribiasi, CEO of Mediolanum International Funds.
The firm has more than €43 billion ($50.4 billion) in assets under management.
"The appointments of both Karoline and Alberto are a natural progression for an increasingly specialized investment team like ours, to offer greater product sophistication not only to traditional retail clients, but also to new institutional investors who are increasingly knocking on our door," Mr. Pietribiasi said in the release.
Spokesmen for Franklin Templeton could not immediately be reached for comment.
