Kristie Feinberg was named head of U.S. and Europe at Manulife Investment Management, and also president and CEO of subsidiary John Hancock Investment Management, effective May 1.
Ms. Feinberg succeeds Andrew G. Arnott, who was appointed to a new role as global head of retail at Manulife Investment Management, while maintaining his former responsibilities during Ms. Feinberg's transition to her new roles, said a news release Wednesday.
Ms. Feinberg was previously Manulife IM's chief financial officer and global head of strategy.
Mr. Arnott had served as head of U.S. and Europe for Manulife Investment Management since 2018 and as president and CEO of John Hancock Investment Management since 2012.
Manulife IM CEO Paul R. Lorentz said in the news release that "Andy will now focus on enhancing value for our retail customers and intermediaries globally," and "Kristie will bring her on-the-ground knowledge and asset management acumen to her new role."
Manulife IM has $807 billion in assets under management and administration globally, according to its website.
Rishi Kapur is the new CFO at Manulife Investment Management, replacing Ms Feinberg, said a Manulife spokesman by email.
