Kunjal K. Shah was named chief investment officer of Lyxor Americas, the U.S.-based subsidiary of Lyxor Asset Management.
It is a new position, a spokesman said in an email. Mr. Shah, who is based in New York, reports to Andrew Dabinett, CEO of Lyxor Americas.
Mr. Shah was previously global head of hedge fund research and will continue to oversee the hedge fund research team, the spokesman said.
Paris-based Lyxor Asset Management has more than $160 billion in assets under management.
