Mark Miller was named head of LGT Capital Partners (U.K.), assuming overall responsibility for the firm's U.K. office and client business, a news release said Tuesday.
He replaced Mark White, CEO of LGT Capital Partners (U.K.), effective July 1, pending regulatory approval.
Mr. White will continue to provide advice to LGT's management and its board, the news release said.
Mr. Miller was previously head of U.K. business development, the news release said. It did not say whether he will continue in those responsibilities.
LGT Capital Partners has over $80 billion in assets under management.
A spokesman for LGT Capital Partners could not immediately provide further information.
