Ryan Hutchinson and Stefan Wimmer joined Lazard Asset Management to run their digital health strategy.
Mr. Hutchinson, a New York-based director and portfolio manager, and Mr. Wimmer, a Berlin-based senior vice president, portfolio manager, previously ran the digital health strategy at Global Thematic Partners.
The unconstrained equity strategy concentrates on health-care sector companies involved in the increased digitalization of health-care activities, according to a news release Tuesday. They report to Jai Jacob, managing director and co-head of Lazard's dynamic portfolio solutions business.
Messrs. Hutchinson and Wimmer are just the latest employees from Global Thematic Partners to join Lazard. In August, Lazard announced Terrence Gray and Jian Tao brought their long-only Bottom Billion Strategy from that firm. The status of Global Thematic Partners could not be immediately learned.
Lazard Asset Management and its affiliated money management companies had $227.8 billion in assets under management as of Sept. 30.
