Lauren Prendiville has been named global head of distribution and marketing at First Sentier Investors, effective Jan. 1.
Prendiville will succeed Harry Moore who was appointed to the newly created role of chief commercial officer, said a Nov. 29 news release.
Both Moore and Prendiville will continue to report to Chief Executive Officer Mark Steinberg.
Prendiville currently serves as the firm’s regional managing director and head of distribution for APAC.
A spokesperson for First Sentier said Prendiville will retain regional managing director responsibility for Asia, including distribution, and the firm is assessing the role in Australia.
Based in Singapore, Prendiville has more than 25 years of asset management experience. First Sentier has $157.2 billion in assets under management.
