Jupiter Asset Management appointed Madeline Han as head of Asia, replacing Peter Swarbreck, a spokeswoman confirmed.
Ms. Han is based in Singapore and reports to head of international Mathias Mueller. Her new role was made effective on Feb. 9.
She is responsible for the continued expansion of the firm in the region and leadership of the Asia team, the firm said in a statement on Tuesday. Ms. Han has been with the company since 2015 and was most recently head of Southeast Asia.
Ms. Han continues to oversee the firm's Southeast Asia business as part of her head of Asia responsibilities, the spokeswoman said.
She replaces Mr. Swarbreck who had been with Jupiter in Hong Kong since 2013. He held the position of head of Asia-Pacific and left the company at the end of 2022, the spokeswoman said. Details on his future plans were not available.
The statement also announced the promotion of Karen Cheng as head of sales for North Asia and Zach Yeo as head of sales for Southeast Asia. Ms. Cheng is based in Hong Kong while Mr. Yeo is based in Singapore.
Both roles were also made effective on Feb. 9 and involve supporting the expansion of Jupiter's distribution network in the region, according to the statement. Both are new positions, and they will report to Ms. Han, the spokeswoman said.
Ms. Cheng joined Jupiter as sales director for North Asia in 2019 from T. Rowe Price, where she was head of Hong Kong intermediaries. Mr. Yeo has been with the firm since 2016, when he joined Jupiter as sales director for Singapore from Citibank where he was a senior investment consultant focused on portfolio advisory.
Jupiter Asset Management has $53 billion in assets under management as of Sept. 30.
