Paul Kennedy was named head of strategy real estate Europe and a portfolio manager at J.P. Morgan Asset Management.
The position is new, a spokeswoman confirmed via email. Mr. Kennedy will lead the European real estate strategy team and contribute market views to JPMAM's real estate investment process. He will be based in London and report to Peter Reilly, CIO of real estate Europe at JPMAM.
Mr. Kennedy was head of private markets strategy at Abu Dhabi Investment Authority. A spokesman for the $828 billion sovereign wealth fund could not be immediately reached for additional information.
J.P. Morgan Asset Management had $1.9 trillion in assets under management as of Sept. 30.
