Bryan Wallace was named head of international fixed-income insurance and pensions at J.P. Morgan Asset Management.
Mr. Wallace replaces Prashant Sharma, effective immediately. Mr. Sharma will pursue opportunities outside of the firm, a statement provided by a spokeswoman said.
Mr. Wallace is based in London and reports to Iain Stealey, international CIO of fixed income.
Details on who takes on his responsibilities as executive director, senior portfolio manager within the global fixed income, currency and commodities group were not available.
J.P. Morgan Asset Management has a total $2.4 trillion in assets under management. The global fixed income, currency and commodities insurance team runs $133 billion.
