Lily Burkhart was named global head of diversity and inclusion at J.P. Morgan Asset Management, effective immediately, a company spokeswoman said.
She replaced Tia Counts in the role, who left the firm for an outside opportunity.
Ms. Burkhart will work with senior leaders to ensure diverse representation within the firm's teams and create an inclusive environment. She is based in New York and reports to Alicia Dee, head of the asset and wealth management talent institute, and Lucida Plummer, global head of employee diversity and inclusion for J.P. Morgan Chase.
Ms. Burkhart is global head of executive talent management and will continue in the post.
