Tia Counts was named global head of diversity and inclusion for J.P. Morgan Asset & Wealth Management.
She replaces Lucida Plummer, who was recently appointed to the newly created role of head of employee diversity and inclusion at J.P. Morgan, a news release said.
Ms. Counts will continue to be based in London and will drive diversity and inclusion strategy for the money management and wealth businesses.
She was head of advancing Black leaders for J.P. Morgan in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, responsible for leading the strategy to attract, develop, retain and advance top Black talent at all levels of the firm. A successor will be named at a later date.
J.P. Morgan Asset & Wealth Management had total assets of $3.5 trillion as of September.
