Priya Misra has been appointed a managing director at J.P. Morgan Asset Management as well as a portfolio manager on the core-plus team for the firm's global fixed income, currency and commodities business.
Ms. Misra will be "an addition to the team" and taking a new position a spokeswoman said in an email.
Ms. Misra will start in August and report to Kay Herr, head of research and incoming U.S. chief investment officer for the GFICC business, said a news release Monday.
Ms. Misra was most recently head of global rates research at TD Securities. TD Securities could not be immediately reached for further details.
J.P. Morgan Asset Management had total assets under management of $2.67 trillion as of March 31. The GFICC business had more than $700 billion in assets under management as of the same date, the news release said.
