Jeffrey Blazek has been named managing director and co-CIO for multiasset strategies at Neuberger Berman, said a Sept. 10 news release.
A spokesperson for the firm confirmed Blazek is taking a newly created role.
Blazek is based in New York and will work with Erik Knutzen, also co-CIO for multiasset strategies.
Blazek will be responsible for “co-leading the firm’s multiasset investment activity, driving portfolio construction and developing investment outlooks for Neuberger Berman’s clients,” said the release.
Both Blazek and Knutzen report to Doug Kramer, head of institutional equities and multiasset.
Blazek most recently served as a partner and New York office leader at Cambridge Associates.
Cambridge could not be immediately reached for further details.
Neuberger Berman has a total of $481 billion in assets under management. The multiasset team manages over $11 billion for more than 25 clients, the spokesperson added.
